Oct20A free public talk by award-winning paleoartist Bob Nicholls on bringing prehistoric animals to life through painting and sculpture. He's creating a 145-foot mural of Wyoming's ancient seas for the UW Geological Museum. Great for dinosaur-loving kids; reception to follow.
Oct22Free fall festival on campus with crafts and games under the big top, a pumpkin catapult, s'mores, carriage rides, and outdoor games. From 5:00 PM, kids in costume can trick-or-treat at UW Safe Treat inside the Wyoming Union, hosted by UW student organizations.

Oct24Laramie's daytime downtown trick-or-treat. Kids in costume visit local businesses for candy and treats. Also downtown: the Haunted Basement, "The Zombie Apocalypse," at 121 E Grand Ave, open 10:00 AM–1:00 PM and again 8:00–10:30 PM.
